the valley of the sun has some stellar instructors and studios. and we thought it might be fun if they could take their talent to the floor of a brewery. we partner with instructors that inspire us. instructors that have the necessary certification paired with the necessary heart. instructors that are passionate about the practice of yoga but who also know how to go with the flow. instructors who know how to balance. after all, yoga is invigoration in relaxation. freedom in routine. confidence through self control. energy within and energy without.

jaime boonlorn

Jaime Leigh Boonlorn is a 200 RYT, mini yogis certified, Level 2 Buti Yoga Instructor, and Yoga Nidra trained. With a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Arizona State University, she teaches throughout the Valley, primarily for The Village Health Club & Spa, Fitness Works, and at various Crossfit gyms. Her class offerings include Vinyasa, Mobility WODs, Power Yoga, Buti Yoga, and Yoga Nidra. A mom to a spunky 7 year old daughter and spirited 4 year old son, she values creating a sense of community for her children. She is honored to often partner with Ivivva by teaching community yoga classes.

Jaime is also the founder of The Nest Collective Yoga. The Nest Collective celebrates the bond between mothers and daughters through the practice of yoga by offering workshops and retreats throughout the Valley. The Nest Collective is proud to support Hosanna House, an East Valley group home for girls in the Arizona foster care system, by teaching the girls yoga as a way to cope with stress and connect with one another. 

When not on the mat, Jaime enjoys road trip adventures with her little ones, sipping Thai iced tea (minus the cream), writing, the occasional croissant-donut, stylizing outfits, pho with her girl friends, and punk rawk shows.

lara rosenberg

ERYT, Nutritional Therapist

Lara Rosenberg worked in began her path of self-discovery in 1994. After graduating college Lara set off on a journey to discover her self further moving to Arizona in 1998 to work for The Meadows, Lara also began deepening her practice of yoga. Lara has accumulated over 15 years working in behavioral health in outreach and community awareness. About 18 years ago Lara began to incorporate yoga into her regular life and she got certified to teach and began instructing yoga 15 years ago. Currently Lara is the Trauma Yoga Consultant at The Meadows Outpatient Center in Scottsdale, AZ; partner/instructor at Vibetality in Chandler, AZ and owns OM3 Yoga in Phoenix, AZ.

Throughout her time in self-discovery Lara spent time doing humanitarian aide work in post-tsunami Sri Lanka and India from 2005-2007 and studied traditional yoga forms. During this time Lara has taught yoga to numerous groups and individuals yoga in a variety of treatment centers, corporations, athletic teams, schools, charities, yoga studios and at events.  

Some of the biggest influences on Lara’s yoga journey are: Dave Oliver, Asana Andiappan, Dharma Mittra, Michael Meade, Martin & Jordan Kirk, Ian Lopatin, David Romanelli, Dr. Carl Hammerschlag, Lisa Cohen, Patrick Brennan, Erica Vucich, Zuzana Kolinkova and so many more.  In 2014, Lara became trained in Bessel van der Kolk’s Trauma Sensitive Yoga model and in 2015 completed her Nutritional Therapy License. Lara currently instructs public, private and corporate yoga classes; gives nutrition lectures and works with individuals and families.

Vibe is what I do! Along with being a Yoga Instructor - I am 1 of 5 teachers here in the valley that offers Whole Body Vibration Yoga, Renewal & Fitness.

A native New Yorker, Lauren took her first yoga class there and fell in love from the start. She felt transformed - in both body and mind - after each class. She decided right then that teaching yoga would be a goal of hers. Now, as a Certified Yoga Teacher, Lauren loves sharing her love for yoga with her students.  

Her style is eclectic, ranging from slower paced, gentle teachings, to heart-pounding dynamic sequences flowing along to house music & hip-hop. Each class ties in the emotional, mental, spiritual aspects of yoga philosophy along with physical asana (poses) to strengthen and revitalize the body and spirit. With fun music, humor, and a laid-back vibe, Lauren creates a space for her students to “just be”.

Heidi Malano is a fitness girl who began her yoga journey five years ago after moving back to Phoenix where she is originally from. She began taking classes and immediately was inspired to earn her 200 hours of training with Dave and Cheryl Oliver, which eventually led to completing 500 hours with John Salisbury. She teaches Power Yoga at the Camelback and Gainey Village Health Clubs, where she also teaches indoor cycling, boot camp, TRX, and Yoga Kicks – a workout she designed to help build strength and stamina for yoga.

Heidi’s fitness background can certainly be felt on the mat, as her classes have a fitness influence to help build strength, as well as increase flexibility. She believes the balance of both help her students feel healthy and happy on and off their mats.

Trying to live a life of balance, Heidi enjoys traveling with her husband as well as staying home with her dogs. She loves boating under the sun and sipping wine beneath the moon. She loves playing her drums and following her favorite band, Widespread Panic. Heidi is on a journey to discover anything that makes her smile in this interesting world. Her mantra is “living the moontime,” which to her means being present in all you experience.
